I... I have the ability to go into the mind and I can alter anything that has been done to them but I am not comfortable doing this without knowing that the person being affected is alright with it.

Like what exactly?

Like emplanting, masking, and redirecting memories, putting people to sleep, forcing them to recall memories they've hidden from themselves, reading minds. They're very complex, you know. You can do a lot with them if you know the proper spell, or at least the makings of one.

I'd like you to try it on me first. Can you find a memory if it's been affected by a magical being? I use summons called Guardian Forces in my world to fight. We think using them causes us to lose some of our memories because they take up room in our mind. But it can still be retrieved if someone else brings up the memory.

There's a lot about my childhood I don't remember.

It would be silly to offer to help someone and make them worse. I've had a lot of practice, someone I know was very...misguided. [ Yeah. That's the nice way of putting that. ] But lots of control.
