Good morning my fellows along for a rather interesting ride. My name of Nida Nomura, and I was until recently a resident of a lovely [and oh the depth of the sarcasm in his voice, so deep, so strong, if his sarcasm was water you could host an Olympic diving competition in it.] little village with terrible little armbands and colors and oh boy the doppelgängers.

If any of that, or the word Iteration without it meaning a robot means something to you, please let me know. I think there are more of us here than I had expected, because I could swear I keep running into you. Figure we should figure out who from our wonderful little home is here. Who knows, maybe even throw together another Young Adult Club meeting, with music this time.

[And that earns a brief chuckle from him. Like it’s some sort of private joke.]

And, things allowing, we can use my room.

[That gets a heartier laugh before the audio recording cuts off.]

Oh it is good to hear your voice. At the same time I admit I am quite sad. I was hoping you were going to be free to go search for your friends again.

Thank you. I thought we would all get to go home. [ or to a home. ] But I am glad to know that you're here. It's good to have at least one friend in a strange world like this.

I mean, they did mean we never left contact devices behind. And the powers were nice. But yeah, I get you there.

Miss being durable. Glad for running hot water. This is almost like being kidnapped in style. So, meet your roommate yet?

That's true. But they were a little strange and I don't think anyone liked that they couldn't be removed.

Indeed, Tommy. All of those words too. And the real advantage? If I get handsy with my boyfriend, a certain speedster can vacate quickly.

But more seriously, in a way I do not entirely miss my own lost abilities. I like having memories.
