Good Afternoon everyone listening. I would first like to take a second to introduce myself. I am Dr. Michael Morbius, now, some of you will know that name and will raise some concerns, allow me to ease your mind and say that I have left the past behind me as I hope you all have in this new world we live in. At the same time, if you give me trouble, I will return it in kind. With that out of the way, allow me to return to my point.

I would like to ask, voluntarily of course, if any of you who wish to help me with a bit of research here... I need your blood.

[ Dramatic pause, because those fangs are very visible. ]

I have a few subjects who have allowed me samples before the vaccine came out, and a few others after. That said I have noticed a difference enough that I wish to have samples to keep for those of us brought from the other world to monitor for further changes.

No, before you ask, I will not be drinking them. This is science not my dinner. I could state my credentials or you can trust the man in the coat who earned his degrees while most of you were still nursing. Now, do I have anyone willing?

[After the clone thing, Hank gets around to sending a message, finally. He'd already been a volunteer. He didn't need to send anything.]

[ Is he purposely making it sound flirty? Yes yes he is, cause hes bored and an ass when he is actually friendly with someone.]

[Because he got fucked up during his fight with his clone and he has bruises everywhere. The only real tangible proof that it happened that he can find now.]

[At least the Cafe is open as usual with no damage. He needs the coffee. And even having a small amount of time to recover, he's still looking the worse for the wear. He spent all night up fighting those damn things off of people, escorting them to the police station, and guarding them on and off. He's wore out.]

[He's waiting there with a hot mug settled between his fingers when Michael shows. He's leaning forward, elbows on the table, hair half in his face and shielding a couple of the bruises he earned from his duplicate's surprise attack.]

Everybody ready to give you a pint, Doc? [Hank says when he sees him approach.]

[ Michael had switched his labcoat out for his new long coat. If he could look anymore goth he would need make up. And thats where he drew his line. Still he was rocking the dark edgy this week. The wind had messed up his hair but that was fine. He moved over after getting a coffee, his eyes tracing over Hank. ]

You look like shit, Hank.

[ What a good friend indeed. He sat down and placed his coffee down, figuring that Hank probably saw the same issues he saw after leaving the lab. At least this wasn't Michael's first rodeo in killing himself. 10 of 10, would kill himself again.

You know their not, I should have tried to look more alive and hide the fangs, but there are some hopefuls.

[Hank's feelings on the matter are similar... sort of... he does regret traumatizing Connor by shooting himself in the face in front of him. Not a great time.]

[But that moment gave him some valuable information.]

I hope they change their mind. [He says very seriously, dropping the tease for now.] Connor's analysis of my clone's blood? That was me, Mike. That blood was genetically mine.

[And that's eating him up.]

I know a lot of those people didn't get the vaccine, either. So it wasn't collected during that.

[ Poor Connor. He needs a hug and a juicebox. Or oil can... Who knows. ]

Let's hope so, I have a feeling that stunt I pulled is going to cost me my job, alas I think I can get by fine if I must, My higher ups chewed me out like a was a child.

[ He lifted his coffee and took a drink. ]

So was mine, Hank, That is why I wanted the samples in hopes of finding a means of tell the reals versus the fakes, but I have had no luck and everyone assumes I will be tossing back the donations so... I doubt they will.

In my world these things happen but usually it is easier to tell. But even the age of the blood matches Hank. It makes no bloody sense.

[ He spoke lower as he took another drink, huh that coffee looks funny stained around the edge... He might have carried it in. ]

Technically I guess it does make bloody sense, but that's beside the point. [He says with the most painfully and tragically straight face in the world.]

The name of this place is Dualis. Maybe that's always been the point. Perfect making 'doubles' of people.

[Hank fumbles his phone out, looking around carefully, before positioning it so Mike can see the video with the sound off. Its of a double woman standing next to her other double. The double realizes she's found out, then attacks.]

Mike, I think we should hold onto this until we're sure it can do some good.

A fine point. [ Michael loved spitballing with this man. God he was so fun to mess with, and gave it back just as good. ]

It would stand to reason that is exactly what is happening. That is why i asked for samples after all. I want to find the difference, there must be something at a molecular level.

[ Michael reached over and placed a hand over the phone to push it on back into Hanks hand more, onlookers might think that their holding hnads for a second. ]

Keep that safe, I am sure they are watching me now, I want to see it later but somewhere else. We will break this when we have enough proof.

[Hank nods earnestly, before raising a hand with another burst of noise from the coffee grinder.]

There's something you need to know. After the black-out? Most of the cops didn't remember it. So me and Connor are thinking maybe a lotta people here are already done. That it might take a year to do it.

So be really damn careful who you talk to, alright? I'm gonna ask around, see if I can get some confirmation. But if this is what I think it is, we only got a few months and the Heart really fucked themselves over in their rush to be dramatic.
