[Squall mutters, mostly in regards to the whole head trauma thing. Why isn't Dr. Kadowaki here? She'd fix him up. She always does.

He sighs in annoyance at the question. Does he have to? It takes him a moment to focus. His words come out slow as he struggles to remembers the order of Jason's questions and the correct answer to them.]

[Y-yeah. He's just going to decline on telling Jason that, since he's certainly around to hear it, but his eyes do furrow a little bit when Squall mentions his age. ...He was really that young? It's. Kind of surprising.

It's not like he's not used to growing up fast. Hell. In his world, being in the army was pretty common at 15, and in Seifer and Squall's world, even younger. But Squall's got a kind of grimness, a weariness, to him. Same with Seifer, too. He'd have guessed they were much older.

But he stays quiet about that. It's not important. And it's a distraction away from the questions Jason is asking. So, he moves his eyes to Seifer- at least to confirm the number's correct.]

[Dr. Kadowaki is smart enough not to get pulled into their messes that's why she's not here to save their ass this time. Just going to have to try to find themselves a new hopefully reliable and trustworthy doctor. Eventually. For now they just need to deal with Squall's stupid broken head.

Seifer's just hanging back and watching, his usual scowling frown firmly in place. Truth be told he's worried, he just won't let it show. Though he does catch Cloud's look and offers the smallest of curt nods.
