I have two questions.

Some of you have weapons you didn't come here with. I want to know where to get one.

The second is for anyone who's gone to have a spell inked on their skin. Has it worked?

I practice quite often. So I don't believe it's just that.

And magic is very dangerous back home too.

I'd imagine so. It sounds less dangerous to the person who wields it, is what I mean.

No. I don't wield true magic back home. That's Sorceresses. And it can drive them mad.

That sounds familiar.

Who knows. Maybe you saw glimpses of it in memories of mine months back?

You misunderstand me. It sounds like the warnings shamans give their apprentices and anyone else who tries to dabble in magic.

Oh. Well, that's fair. Sorceresses, they need knights to anchor them.

Do they? Interesting.

They do. Or that's the prevalent theory. The ones without them tend to try and take over the world.

Less familiar.

Doesn't sound like the only person I know who has powerful magic, at least.

Small blessings I guess. Of course Sorceresses pass their magic on to each other. So it gets more powerful over time.

Interesting. Doesn't sound like the shamans from home, though. Some people have the gift of true magic even if their parents don't. The rest is all ritual and symbols. Spells.

The only reason I could use it back home was channeling magic from nature spirits.

A good many shamans do. Spirits and wights are powerful.

We had Guardian Forces. They lived in our minds, ate memories, and allowed us to use para-magic drawn from nature and monsters.

That's ... different. Not like anything back home. At least not that Iu know of. Spirits are the business of the shamans, it's outside of my ken.

It's outside of most people's knowledge back home too. Only mercenaries trained at my school knows them well.

Probably for the best. People who don't know what they're doing mucking about with things like that don't end well.

The costs alone are something that people never really explain. Not properly.
