Right, the Lunar Cry. So I don't know the specifics of it, or hell if anyone even knows the specifics but you're probably right in thinking it's some kind of gravitational event. From the whole two other worlds I've seen now it seems like our moon's either a hell of a lot bigger, or a hell of a lot closer than most.

Anyway monsters live and multiply on the moon, don't ask me how they do that without water or air monsters do what they want. Then roughly every 80-100 years a Cry happens, and it pulls a whole lotta them off in one big stream. And do I mean huge. It's not uncommon to completely obliterate a city off the face of the world.

The ones that don't land in the main pillar or die on impact fan out and fall for miles around the impact zone. Suffice it to say our world's pretty crawling with monsters now and that's about it.




... Ain't any in the ocean come to think of it. Maybe cause their ain't any water on the moon?
