Anyone else noticed things

getting stolen

[Autocorrect: Misplaced via SUBJECT NAME'S own error on SUBJECT NAME'S home planet. Dualis does not accept financial or legal responsibility for lost property, including, but not limited to weaponry.]

between getting picked up and arriving?

Edit: Didn't type it, but that, I guess.
If anyone knows where to get replacements, that'd be helpful.

Training sabers use Bondar crystals to change the blade to a stun weapon. The worst injury an apprentice is going to suffer is to their pride.

What crystals? Huh, never heard of one of those. And come on, you know kids. They're likely to find a way to get their hands on real things anyway.

Okay, sure, it's impossible to account for every contingency, but you can't exactly run down to the market and grab yourself a lightsaber, and I don't see a lot of ten-year-olds successfully pickpocketing their masters'.

I mean, back home you can get just about any weapon at a local smith. Lightsabers are rarer then? Might explain why Luke had to use his dad's.

The components are hard to come by and hard to assemble. [And yet she still has a footlocker full of the ones she's taken off dead Sith.] It's a little weird this friend of yours didn't have to build his own, though. That's considered bare minimum to graduate to Padawan.

[Oh Hyne, Nida almost wants to call Billy 'padawan' now, because he is training his boyfriend to fight.]

Billy isn't a Jedi. More... space witch than space wizard with a glowy sword.

Billy? I was talking about this Luke you mentioned.

Oh right. Sorry. Luke isn't my friend. I've just heard his story. And there weren't any Jedi then or something. He was trained by the guy that trained his dad.

[Huh, must have been right after that whole Exar Kun mess.]

I hope he learned eventually. You don't want to be caught with a lightsaber you can't fix.

I think when his broke he made another. I think Yoda taught him. I don't remember. I heard it all second or third hand.
